Quran: "And if there comes to you guidance from Me then whoso shall follow My guidance, on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve."
Sura al-baqara (2) verse 38

Hadith: The messenger of Allah (S) said,
'All my followers will enter Paradise except those who refuse. They said, " O Allah's Apostle! Who will refuse? He said, Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses.' Al-Bukhari 9-384

Introduction 1

The purpose of our site is to advise the misinformed about islam, its tradition, civilisation and culture at an initiated level and to relieve misconceptions about its reality and true nature.

This web site is a collective work designed to present the Islamic principles by subject and theme. Initially the translation of the verses of the Quran and sayings of the Prophet (hadīths) will be given in four languages:
English, French, German and Swedish.

Other languages will come later by the will of God.

Introduction 2

We have chosen a couple of verses of the Quran by way of illustration, followed by a few hadīths related to the subject.

Some of these hadīths had to be shortened, but included will be the name of the first person who related the hadīth and the source of hadīth collections from which they were extracted.

Where necessary a footnote explanation has been provided. Occasionally an Arabic word or Islamic concept, which contains more than one meaning, its supplementary connotations can be found footnoted.

Tradition has here the normal, ethymological meaning, i.e. being: truths and principles of divine order revealed or unveiled to mankind.
