Anti-Islamic sites, books against Islam

There is no debate possible with someone adducing sites filled with 
mammoth lies such as "Not a single word in the Qur'an and Sunna 
question slavery" and "Rape is Sunna".

Amazon.com now has several dozens of books on the same lines.

Their endeavor and publications are political or rather 
propagandistic in the best Goebbelsian tradition, not scholarly in 
the least. Any serious response must come in the form of a well-
crafted counter-series of publications and websites for lawmakers and 
the general English-speaking public, such as: _The status of rapists 
in Islam_; _The protection of war-captives and slaves in Islam_; 
_Islam's anti-war philosophy_ etc.

Armed with such, dedicated and articulate spokespeople can hope to 
stem somewhat the sewage-like torrent of "quality" mediatized 
Islamophobia reaching such refinements, lately, as Geert Wilders' 
short YouTube feature. Alas, there is no political will anywhere in 
sight to support that kind of work but for a handful of private 
individuals and organisations who, for the most part, do not even 
work with one another.
