Delivering Unlawful Goods

Q
A brother is working at a restuarant doing deliveries for the kuffar. Some of the deliveries are pork and haraam products. He is paid at the end of the night from all the deliveries that he has done.

Is it halaal in the Hanbali madhhab [...] ?
A
al-salamu `alaykum

Being hired to do something that is itself unlawful (such as fornication, wailing at a funeral or singing) or aids in the haram (such as delivering unslaughtered meat or wine, or sewing a silk garment for a man to wear) is itself haram. If these things are not explicitly stated in the contract but are understood and expected, the agreement is unlawful and so are the wages. On the other hand, it is permissible though offensive for someone to hire himself to dispose of unslaughtered meat or to pour out wine.

And Allah knows best.
