So we learn that Saud KSA is ready to pay a famous soccer player £173 million a year, also for ”becoming an ambassador for the country's 2030 World Cup bid.” [1]
This sum of £173 million is the equivalent of 474 000 £/day!
At the same time there are refugees all over the world, including many Muslim refugees - millions, so one would expect them to be treated as brothers and sisters of the Muslim community, the Umma.
Question: What do they spend for this fleeting life? And
What do they spend for their life beyond (al-akhira)?
{ مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلٰكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ }
{ What they spend in the life of this (material) world/ in this worldly life may be likened to a wind which brings a nipping frost: It strikes and destroys[5] the harvest of men who have wronged their own souls/ wronged themselves: it is not Allah that hath wronged them, but they wrong themselves.[4] }

Muslims are called to discard the path of the demonic, and instead take the path of divinity, to maintain the right path (sirāta-l mustaqīm), not the temptations of fame and power in this lowly world, but to seek the good pleasure (ridā) of Allah (may His Majesty be exalted) .
Oh Allah!
Forgive us our sins, pardon our mistakes,
help us to attain the righteous path and to avoid following the footsteps of the demonic!
