On The Unchanging Religion
accoring to the Islamic Tradition

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Quran: "Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your god is one God, therefore whoever hopes to meet his Lord, he should do good deeds, and not join anyone in the service of his Lord." (Sura al-Kahf, verse 110)

Quran: "So he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it." (Sura al-Zalzalah, verses 7 & 8)

The Islamic Tradition, may Allah send His Grace and Peace unto the Messenger Mohammad ﷺ defines the most essential aspects of the Islamic religion in the following terms:

1 - "The religion which Allah appreciates most is sincere and tolerant monotheism."

2 - "Act in such a way that your deeds are solely for the Divine Countenance, for Allah only accepts what has been done for His Face."

3 - "The best and most worthwhile act of worship (ʿibādah) is the one which is the lightest (and most natural of the world)."

4 - "Act as someone who never thinks of death but is aware of his mortality."

5 - "The most excellent action: the right intention."

6 - "The best of muslim believers is the one from whose tongue and hand muslims are secure; the best of believers is the one with the best character; the best of the emigrants is the one who leaves what Allah has forbidden; finally the best jihad is the one conducted against one ' s lower self for sake of the Divine Essence."

7 - "Truly, Allah has accepted for this community informality and rejected difficulty."
