    People, Greed And Prayers

    Hadith Four

    The Prophet's ﷺ Recommendation
    That None Be Burdensome
    Nor Covetous Among People, And
    To Perform One's Prayer Intensely
    For It May Be One's Last

    Narrated from Sa`d ibn Abi Waqqas (ra): A man came
    to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of
    Allah, advise me!"He replied: "Expect nothing from
    what people possess. Beware of greed, for it is
    immediate poverty. Perform your prayer as one
    departing. Beware of what one apologizes for."
