Allah ﷻ - Over All Powerful
{ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ }
{Do you not know that surely Allah! His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth?[1] and for you[2] there is, besides Allah, no guardian or helper.}
2-107
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّٰهِ
And there is no ability and no power over anything, save by Allah.[19]
[1]: So He alone is the Arbiter and Law-giver. He can enact or revoke whatever He will. None there is to temper or obstruct His prerogative.
[2]: (O mankind!)
[19]: La hawla wala quwwata illa billah
Allah ﷻ - The Most Merciful of the merciful
{ وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ}
{And ˹remember˺ when Ayyūb (Job) cried out to his Lord, [10] “I have been touched with adversity,”[11] and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.}
21-83
[10]: (after the loss of his sons and himself being afflicted with loathsome sores.) (Job. 1:2,7)
[11]: He had adāb (الآداب i.e. good qualities and attributes of mind and soul): {Harm has touched me}, and taught me patience, {because You are The Most Merciful of the merciful}. Abu ʿAmr al-Dimashqī DS83
Good Behavior - adāb
The Prophet ﷺ said:
خَلَقَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ فَجَعَلَ فِي الأَرْضِ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً فَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوَالِدَةُ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَالْبَهَائِمُ بَعْضُهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ وَالطَّيْرُ وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةٍ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ أَكْمَلَهَا اللَّهُ بِهَذِهِ الرَّحْمَةِ
“Allah created one hundred (degrees of) mercy, of which He placed one on earth, by virtue of which mothers show compassion to their children and animals as well as the birds show compassion to one another.”
